Staff Biographies

Nadine Robertson is a Wastewater Treatment Plant Project Manager and is the owner of Atlantis Technical Solutions.  She serves as the Student and Young Professionals Committee Chair for the Clean Water Professionals of Louisiana and is an active member of the Water Environment Federation (WEF).

 

Nadine also serves as the Officer at Large for the Louisiana Conference on Water Supply, Sewerage, and Industrial Wastes and is the Region IV’s Young Professional Director for the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).

 

During the Summer of 2020, Nadine accepted a consulting internship to serve as the Workforce Development Coordinator for the Water Environment Federation’s InFLOW (Introducing Future Leaders to Opportunities in Water) Program. In this role she supported WEF’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, program development assistance, and mentored minority students and young professionals entering the water industry. 

 

Nadine supports CTEs (Career and Technical Education) and is an advocate for Diversity, Access, Equity, and Inclusion. She is a graduate of ACTE’s National IAED Program and is eager to begin teaching NCCER’s Process Technology, Safety, and Operations and Maintenance to our next generation of students on the Secondary or Post-Secondary level soon. 

 

Nadine is a 2018 WEF Emerging Water Quality Scholar, a 2019 Water Leadership Institute graduate, a 2020 LWEA Hatfield Award recipient for Exceptional Operator Skills, 2020 AWWA One Operator Scholarship Recipient, a 2021 WEF Operator Scholarship Recipient, and a 2022 Water and Waste Digest Magazine YoungPro, a 2023 Marquis Who's Who Inductee for Professionalism, Integrity, and Contribution to the water industry. Nadine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of North Florida, an Associate's Degree in Process Technology from Nunez Community College, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering focusing on Sustainable Water Systems at Southern University A&M.
